Carnival of the Animals

A series of shadow puppet scenes profiling different members of the animal kingdom including lions, hens, tortoises, elephants and more, all set to music by the classical composer Saint-Saens. 

Originally developed during a residency with the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, this thirty-minute show transmits stories of love, hope, fear and joy without dialogue, relying entirely on its inspiring visuals and a compelling soundtrack, which is known to be “a grand zoological fantasy.”
